Can I use the lid as a table?

Accepted Answer

You can easily unlock the 2 stop hinges on the lid and fold the lid down completely 180 degrees. With the 2 included table legs, which you simply attach with a magnet, the lid gets the necessary stability to use this as a storage space or table. So you have the table integrated in your camping kitchen and can leave the big camping table at home. The table legs are height adjustable, so the optional stand is a great combination to cook at standing height.

What can I attach to the magnetic bar?

Accepted Answer

When the lid is open, you can attach various metal equipment to the magnetic bar (e.g. knife, lamp, bottle opener, etc.).

What is the side pullout for?

Accepted Answer

Through the side pull-out, you automatically have an integrated storage or work surface in your kitchen box. If you want to cook, this is the perfect place for a gas stove.

You can slide the large bamboo board onto the pull-out and use it as a storage surface or leave it in place for even more work space.

Can I use the bamboo boards on other positions?

Accepted Answer

You can use the two bamboo boards side by side as a flat work surface when the pull-out is closed or open. When the drawer is pulled out, you can also use the larger board crosswise as a raised storage surface or slide it through onto the drawer for better access to the interior of your kitchen unit.

What is the function of the wind stopper?

Accepted Answer

The wind stopper is delivered with the camping box and is a kind of black foam block. This is simply clamped between the cooking box and the opened lid, so that the lid can not fall shut in the wind.

Where are the table legs stowed?

Accepted Answer

The table legs are stored in a convenient bag and have their own compartment just below the drawer.

How do I attach the table legs to the lid?

Accepted Answer

The table legs are height adjustable and can thus be set individually. The table legs have a counter magnet at the upper end. This is simply pulled off, the table leg is placed under the folded lid and secured with the counter magnet from above.

Can I cut on the bamboo boards?

Accepted Answer

The bamboo boards are oiled and food safe. Theoretically, of course, you can also cut the boards your vegetables, etc.. However, you will then logically have cutting marks in your fancy boards.

We ourselves use the boards as a storage area and have an additional cutting board (from Ikea etc.) with us.

Does the Kitchenbox Eurobox dimensions?

The Kitchenbox is 2cm shorter than the Eurobox. The LAYZEE Box has the dimensions: LxWxH : 58 cm x 40 cm x 42 cm

The LAYZEE Kitchenbox fits perfectly under the original Multiflexboard in the T5 / T6 / T6.1 Multivan and Beach. Likewise on a rear extension.

Is the Kitchenbox waterproof?

The lid is equipped with a seal, but the front flap and the pull-out with push button do not have a seal, so water could enter there in case of heavy rain.

For those who want to leave the box outside in wind and weather or want to transport outside on the vehicle / trailer, we are currently developing a suitable cover, which we will offer shortly.

Doesn't everything slide back and forth inside?

Each compartment is equipped with an anti-slip mat in checker plate optics. Thus, the bottom is protected and not everything can slide back and forth. Ultimately, however, it remains a transport box and it is up to you how you pack it.

Can't the pullout just open while driving?

The pull-out has a locking device and now also has a push button, which provides additional security.

The two recesses next to the large bamboo board can be used perfectly for spice jars. We are currently working on a range of accessories that also includes matching spice jars.
