We, Jill, Chris & I - the founding team, created the LAYZEE Kitchenbox in 2021 because we were looking for a problem solver. We were tired of rummaging through various bags to store our camping kitchen equipment and the clutter in the trunk.
Our goal was a lightweight mobile camping box in which you can store everything practically and which does not have to be permanently installed in a vehicle. Quickly the idea was born to stick to the Eurobox dimensions and to develop a well thought-out cooking box that offers a lot of storage space. After about a year, countless hours, drawings, changes and samples it was suddenly there mobile kitchen unit and needed a name: The LAYZEE Kitchenbox.
We are proud that our kitchen box now appeals to a wide audience. Perhaps the kitchen box can even be considered a picnic basket 2.0. We asked some of our customers what they use the LAYZEE Kitchenbox for?
From campervan owners who use the box as a rear kitchen, the outdoor sportsmen (anglers, surfers, climbers), micro adventurers, festival visitors to families who relax with picnic box in the park what all there. But the LAYZEE Kitchenbox has also served as a micro kitchen in the Tiny House and as a decorative outdoor kitchen on the balcony or as a bar in the living room.
